It means,


AP=HP


2f-5=5f-17

taking similar terms together,


5f-2f=17-5


3f=12


f=4

So,


AP=2f-5=2*4-5=3

HP=5f-17=5*4-17=3


AH=AP+HP


AH=3+3=6
