The shape does not change.

If it's in x-y coordinate, then all vertexes have 2 units deducted for x coordinate, and 4 units incremented for y coordinate.

Answer:

Translated Horizontally Right by x units to any Polygon = +x is added to abscissae of each of the vertices of Polygon

Translated Horizontally Left by x units to any Polygon = -x is Subtracted from abscissae of each of the vertices of Polygon

Translated Vertically up by y units to any Polygon = +y is added to Ordinate of each of the vertices of Polygon.

Translated Vertically down by y units to any Polygon = -y is Subtracted from ordinate of each of the vertices of Polygon.

⇒Translation of vertices of Polygon ABCDE , 2 units to the right and 4 units up will take the vertices of Polygon , if vertices of polygon is represented by A(a,b),B(p,q),C(r,s),D(m,n),E(s,t)

=Add 2, to each of the abscissae of Polygon ABCDE , and Add 4 to each of the Ordinate of Polygon ABCDE

=Means each of the vertices of Polygon is shifted 2 units horizontally right and 4 unit Vertically up.

A'(a+2,b+4),B'(p+2,q+4),C'(r+2,s+4),D'(m+2,n+4),E'(s+2,t+4)

→The two Polygon , that is Preimage polygon ABCDE and Image Polygon A'B'C'D'E' will be congruent.

Explained by taking an Example,

Image is Depicted below.
