Explain two ways you could evaluate (f + g)(2).

To evalute anything you need expressions for f and g.
By definition of (f+g)(2)=f(2)+g(2) so you take each expression and evaluate them at 2. or you can use (f+g)(2) and calculate f+g and then evaluate whatever you get in 2.
