The denominator can be simplified with the distributive property.

(2q)/(16(q + r))

(2q)/(16q + 16r)

Then simplify the fraction by prime factorizing each term in the fraction and cancel out common factors.

(2q)/(16q + 16r) = ((2)(q))/((2)(2)(2)(2)(q) + (2)(2)(2)(2)(r)) = \\ \\ (1)/((2)(2)(2) + (2)(2)(2)(2)(r)) = (1)/(8 + 16r)

So, that is the simplified form.
