A line passes through the points (9, 30) and (18, 30). Which statement is true about the line?

A) It has a slope of zero because the change in the y-values is 0.
B) It has no slope because the change in the y-values is 0.
C) It has a slope of zero because the change in the x-values is 0.

(9,30)(18,30)....when u have 2 sets of points and there y value is the same, then u have a horizontal line with a slope of 0

answer : A...it has a slope of 0 because the change in the y values

Answer:

Option A It has a slope of zero because the change in the y-values is
0

Explanation:

we know that

The formula to calculate the slope between two points is equal to

m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

we have

A(9,30)\ B(18,30)

Substitute the values

m=(30-30)/(18-9)

m=(0)/(9)=0 ------> is a horizontal line

The slope is equal to zero, because the change in the y-values is
0
