The general equation of a straight line is y = mx + c
m is the gradient , c is the intercept, y and x are two points on the straight line
To obtain equation of a line using a slope and one point form; use the slope and the point coordinate to obtain the intercept
Then substitute the intercept and the slope in y=mx + c to get your equation
y = mx + c
y = -5, x = 4 , m= 6
-5 = 6 x 4 + c
-5 = 24 + c
collect like terms
- 5 - 24 = c
c = -29
Then the equation of the line is
y = 6x + (-29)
y = 6x - 29
