If you remove the biological (etiologic) contamination hazards through destroying microorganisms and their toxins, what mechanism of decontamination did you use?

If microorganisms are killed, and toxins are also destroyed, then a DISINFECTION technique must have been used to decontaminate.
Disinfection process allows the complete killing, or stopping the growth of microorganisms and toxins.
