A can is 12cm x 8cm how much does it hold

Hello,
Given the volume of a cylinder
V = π(r²)h
The radius is half the diameter so:
r =D:2=8:2= 4cm
the height h is given as 12 cm.

V = 3,14×(4²)×12= 3,14×16×12= 602,88 cm³

do 12cm * 8cm and that will equal 96cm
