0.5 is half of a gallon.
So, we do 17 / 2 = 8.5
8.5 * 7 (number of days in a week) = 59.5
Katrina drinks 59.5 cups of water in a week.

there are 16 cups in a gallon and you would multiply 16 * 0.5 * 7(the number of days in a week) and you get
