Thomas can buy 3 chicken sandwiches.

Explanation: Thomas has $10.00. 10.00 - 1.50 = 8.50 . $8.50 is what Thomas has for chicken sandwiches. if we divide 8.50 by 2.75, we got roughly 3, which is the amount of chicken sandwiches thomas can get.
