-36 +60 =24+20=44 answer is 44 unless the first x is a multiplication sign

I assume you mean:
3x^2 -5xy + 5y^2.

Simply substitute the given values into the equation:

3(-6)^2 - 5(-6)(2) + 5(2)^2

=188
