Assuming an equilateral triangle of 841 miles on each side.
Each angle of the triangle must be 60 degrees, and the height of the triangle is H=841*sin(60)=841*sqrt(3)/2
B=base = 841 miles
So area = (1/2)base*height
=841*[841*sqrt(3)/2]/2
=306261.66 sq. miles.
