hello :
let : y the length and : x the width.... x< y x
> 0 and y
> 0
y = 3+2x ....(1)
xy = 35...(2)
subsct in (2):
x(3+2x) = 35
2x² +3x-35 = 0
delta : (3)² -4(2)(-35) = 289 = 17²
x1 = (-3-17)/4 < 0 ( refused)
x2 = (-3+17)/4 = 7/2
y = 3 +2(7/2) = 10
