1) We can translate that into an algebraic expression if we call the value of the Xerox Stock: X.

2) So to find out the value of a Target Stock (T) we can write it out:


X=T-43.25

Note that we can plug into "T" the value of the Target share to find out X (Xerox share).

3) Hence, the answer is:


X=T-43.25
