discriminant: b^2 - 4ac
a = 3, b = -7, and c = 4
so, (-7)^2 - 4(3)(4) = 1
Since the discriminant is positive, there are 2 real zeros, if the discriminant was negative there would be 2 complex zeros, and if the discriminant equaled 0 then there is one real answer
