Ryleigh received a $50 gift card to the frozen yogurt shop for her birthday. The shop sells yogurt sundaes for $4 and yogurt cones for $3. How many sundaes and cones can she buy with her card?

If x represents the number of yogurt sundaes and y represents the number of yogurt cones, which graph correctly shows the solution to the problem?

Let x represent the number of yogurt sundaes
y represent the number of yogurt cones, so
4x+3y≤50
Subtract 4x to each side
4x+3y≤50-4x
3y≤-3x+50
Divided 3 to each side
3y/3≤(-3x+50)/3
y≤-x+50/3
Now, If x and y both equal 0
y≤-x+50/3
0≤0+50/3
0≤50/3
In co, we see that graph B and D both meet requirements, so we need to eliminate one of the to get the right answer, because of the ≤ I will choose D as the correct answer. Hope it help!

The answer is D because the shaded area must go to the origin and it must have a non-dashed line because having 5 sundaes and 10 cones is possible.
