Krebs cycle occurs in the inner mitochondrial matrix. The inner mitochondrial membrane houses the electron transport (oxidative phisphorylation) chain which yields more ATP tgan either of the other two glyco-metabolic processes.

The Krebs cycle is the cycle that takes place in the inner membrane of the mitchochondrion.
