You should because when you convert them to have a common denominator 4/12 needed and you have 9/12 cups of oil and 4 goes into 9 twice so you should have enough oil for two batches and with 1/12 of a cup left

A recipe for 1 batch of cookies calls for 1/3 cup of oil means that:
To make 1 batch of cookies, you need 1/3 cup of oil
Then,
You have 3/4 cup of oil
To be able to know that you have enough oil for 2 batches of cookies, I will use tree diagram:
1 batch of cookies needs 1/3 cup of oil
?batch of cookies needs 3/4 cup of oil
First step,
Use cross multiply
3/4×1=3/4
Second step:
Use division
3/4÷1/3
=3/4×3
=9/4
=2 1/4 batch of cookies, so I wipp have enough oil for 2 batch of cookies. Hope it help!
