The adverse effect that could observe in this patient would be hypotension. It is a condition where a person has a low blood pressure. NItroglycerin is known as a vasodilator which means it open the blood vessels improving blood flow. Too much opening of the vessels, would lead to lowering the blood pressure since the area is bigger while the force of the blood flowing is the same.
