The waist to hip ratio (whr) is a ratio commonly expressed as a decimal that has been shown to be a good predictor of possible cardiovascular problems in both men and women. If kevin has a whr greater than 1, he is considered to be "high risk" for cardiovascular problems n calculate kevin's whr with a waist measurement of 42 inches and a hip measurement 2 inches less

The waist to hip ratio is a ratio given by

(waist \ measurement)/(hip \ measurement)

Given that Kevin's has a waist measurement of 42 inches and a hip measurement 2 inches less (i.e. hip measurement of 42 - 2 = 40 inches)

Therefore, Kelvin's waist to hip ration is given by

(42)/(40) =1.05
