if f(x) = 7x − 8 and g(x) = 4 − x
find
(fg)(x)
(f/g)(x)
What is the domain of f/g? (Enter your answer using interval notation.)

1) f(x)=7x-8 and g(x) = 4-x: find f(g(x))

f(g(x)) = [7(4-x) -8] = -7x+20

Domaine of f(x)/g(x) = (7x-8)/(4-x)
this function is valid for all x≠4
domaine = ]- ∞,4[ ∪ ]4, + ∞[
