same as the other one

part A)

CD 12,000 at 6%, how much is that? (6/100) * 12000

CB 4000 at 5%, how much is that? (5/100) * 4000

part B)

total investment was 12000 + 4000 = 16000

the earned interest above are 720 and 200 respectively

total yield was, 720 + 200 = 920

if 16000 is the 100%, how much is 920 in percentage?

\bf \begin{array}{ccllll} amount&\%\\ \text{\textemdash\textemdash\textemdash}&\text{\textemdash\textemdash\textemdash}\\ 16000&100\\ 920&x \end{array}\implies \cfrac{16000}{920}=\cfrac{100}{x}

solve for "x"
