The school auditorium has 900 seat, the inequality x+y is less than or equal to 900, with x representing adults and y representing children, can be solved to find the possible combinations of adults and children attending an event. Which reason describes why the ordered pair (450, 450) must be included in the solution set of the inequality?

x + y < = 900

(450,450)...x = 450, y = 450

the ordered pair is included because 450 + 450 = 900...and ur inequality specifies that it can be equal.....now if ur inequality did not include the equal sign, and it was just <, then it would not have been a solution.
