for coordinates, the first value is x and the second value is y. sub these into the equation
A) (4*1) + 7 = - 6
4 + 7 doesnt = - 6
B) (5*4) - 2 = -6
20 - 2 doesnt = - 6
C) (6*4) + 11= - 6
24 + 11 doesnt = - 6
D) as the rest are incorrect, we can safely assume it is D but to be sure
(-1*4) - 2 = - 6
- 4 - 2 = - 6 hence D is the answer

The answer is D (-1,-2). You could have solved using each of the answer choices filling in the first coordinate for X and the second for Y and solve and whichever coordinates equaled the answer is correct.
