Domain is the set of all elements given in a set that corresponds to a value in another set which is the Range.

From the given proble, domain is the set of Friend's name, while range is their Birthday.

Domain will be :

{Sandy, Emily, Marie, John, Mica}

Range will be :

{Jan 15, Jan 26, Feb 27, Oct 2}

The answer is Choice D or 4th Option.

A relation is a function IF and ONLY IF there's only ONE distinct value of range in every element in the domain.
