Which step in glycolysis involves the process where isomerization takes place? which step in glycolysis involves the process where isomerization takes place? 1,3-bisphosphoglycerate to 3-phosphoglycerate fructose-1,6-bisphosphate to dihydroxyacetone phosphate glucose-6-phosphate to fructose-6-phosphate and dihydroxyacetone phosphate to glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate fructose-6-phosphate to fructose-1,6-bisphosphate and 1,3-bisphosphoglycerate to 3-phosphoglyc?

The step of glycolysis in which isomerization takes place is the CONVERSION OF GLUCOCO -6- PHOSPHATE TO FRUCTOSE-6- PHOSPHATE. Isomerization is the process by which one molecule is transformed into another molecule which have exactly the same number of atoms but the atoms have different spatial arrangement [arrangement in space]. These types of molecules are called isomers.
