The answer is venous pooling. Venous polling or chronic venous insufficiency is a state that happens when the venous wall in the leg veins are not functioning efficiently. This is making it hard for the blood to go back to the heart coming from the legs. This makes the blood to gather in these veins and this pooling is called stasis.
