7/10 of an hr.......60 min / hr.....7/10(60) = 420/10 = 42 minutes
42 / (2/5) = 60 / x......42 minutes to 2/5 acre = 60 minutes to x acres
cross multiply
42x = 2/5(60)
42x = 120/5
42x = 24
x = 24/42
x = 4/7....he will mow 4/7( or 0.57) acres in 1 hr
