You and 3 friends are going to Great Mountain Park. The park has 3 water rides. The Coaster, Slide, and Drop cost $5.50, $2.00, and $6.50, respectively. Your group plans to ride each water ride once. How much change will you get back from a $100 bill?
$14
$22
$50
$44
I keep getting 58 because 5.50+2.00+6.50=14 and 14x3=42 and 100-42=58 WHAT AM I DOING WRONG

The answer would be $44, because it is YOU and 3 friend, which equals 4 people. So, yes, $
5.50 + $2.00 + $6.50 = $14. $14 x 4 = $56, and $100 - $56 = $44. So, as stated before, the answer is $44.
