Considering the ending of the short story "Was It a Dream?" what is the author saying about love? Do you think he is right or wrong? In one to two paragraphs, explain your answer.

by Guy Maupassant where the ending tells about what is love. I think what he really mean in that part of story is that he couldn't believe nor image the possibility that he would experience such greatness of love and he is like in heaven when he experienced it

if this helps leave a thanks

Answer:

Acoording to Guy De Maupassant anything can be hidden.

Step-by-step explanation:

Sometimes when people are in love, glorify the loved ones and accept everything abot them, even deny or ignore their faults or weaknesses. In this short story, the main character lost his love, and he shows how perfect was everything about her, unfortunately, one day he is found unconscious on her beloved grave after having read the real message should have be written on her tombstone trhat exposes her, showing she was cheating on him the day she got sick.

I think he was right about his feeling, he had reasons to feel himself disapointed and shocked. His perception of what love is after discovering that changed totally, and it makes sense. He wanted to express not only his surprise feelng but also how everything can be discovered in any moment.
