Hey there!

The power property of logarithms is the third property of logarithms.

It states the following:


\bold{log_nm^a=alog_nm}

Basically, we take our exponent, a, and put it in front of the logarithm.

And that's actually what logarithms are for! They were invented for solving equations where the variable we're solving for is in the exponent.
