Find the measure of an angle whose measure is 18 degrees less then its supplement

Two Angles are Supplementary when they add up to 180 degrees. So your angle a has a supplement 180-a, and 180-a-18 = a, which is an equation we can solve.

180-a-18 = a
162 = 2a
a = 81 (supplement is 99)
