Paracas textiles have been preserved because the climate in Peru is very dry. Paracas textiles were found at a necropolis in Peru in the 1920s. The textiles were made by South American people thousands of years ago; they are usually brightly colored and embroidered with different designs which showcase the crafts of the the people who made these textiles.
