The first term 18x^2 has the coefficient of 18. The last term is -5
Multiply the two values 18 and -5 to get 18*(-5) = -90

We need to find two numbers that
A) multiply to -90
B) add to 27

The numbers 32 and -5 add to 27, but they do NOT multiply to -90

So that's why the answer is choice B

Side note: the two values are actually -3 and 30 but this is just extra info at this point
