-(3x-2)=-4(x+1)-4
-3x+2=-4(x+1)-4
Use distributive property for -4(x+1)
-3x+2=-4x-4-4
-3x+2=-4x-8
Add 4x to each side
-3x+2+4x=-4x-8+4x
x+2=-8
Subtract 2 to each side
x+2-2=-8-2
x=-10
Check:
-(3x-2)=-4(x+1)-4
-(3×10-2)=-4(-10+1)-4
-(30-2)=-4(-9)-4
32=32, so x=-10. Hope it help!
