Isolate y in the first equation.

2y = 10x

y = 5x

--------------------------

Then plug this into the second equation

(x^2)/(64)-(y^2)/(36) = 1

(x^2)/(64)-((y)^2)/(36) = 1

(x^2)/(64)-((5x)^2)/(36) = 1

(x^2)/(64)-(25x^2)/(36) = 1

--------------------------

So the final answer is choice A
