What does Freneau admire about the burial rites of Native Americans, as described in "The Indian Burying Ground"?

The rites imply that the deceased will live actively after death.

The Indians bury their dead in a sitting position. This sitting position is a sign that they are still active in the world they will go to after death. For the Indians, death is not end but it is a release for life is seen as bondage.
