Draw a conclusion about what contains enzymes. Use the graph above to draw your

conclusion. Think about all the substances we tested. If we tested a piece of untouched
plastic would you see a reaction? Why or why not? (Use complete sentences and
evidence from the data.)

Answer:

Yeast and the liver contain the most enzymes

Step-by-step explanation:

Enzymes are a biological catalyst. This means that they increase the rate of a chemical reaction. Therefore yeast and the liver must have the most enzymes as they have the highest reaction ratings at 4. Apple must have the least enzymes in as the reaction rating is quite low, at 2, meaning there are very few catalysts for the reaction

Answer: See Below

Step-by-step explanation:

It appears from the graph that higher differentiated organisms contain more enzymes. A human liver contains the same amount of enzymes as one of the simplest eukaryotic organisms (yeast). Generally the more complex the organism the greater the need for enzymes.

It would be highly unlikely to find enzymes on an untouched piece of plastic considering it is not living and has no use for enzymes.
