\cfrac{2^(12)}{2^6} = 2^(12-6)=2^6 \ \ \ no \\ \\ \\ \cfrac{2^(8)}{2^(-6)}=2^(8-(-6))=2^(14) \ \ \ no \\ \\ \\ \cfrac{2^(6)}{2^(3)}=2^(6-3)=2^3 \ \ \ no \\ \\ \\ \cfrac{2^(8)}{2^(6)}=2^(8-6)=2^2 \ \ \ yes

Answer: D. 2^8/2^6
