We know that a candy contains 90% milk chocolate and it has 3 pounds of caramels.Part A:An equation:0.9 x + 3 = x,where x is the weight of the candy ( in pounds ).Part B :0.9 x + 3 = xx - 0.9 x = 30.1 x = 3x = 3 : 0.1x = 30 pounds.Milk chocolate.0.9 * 30 = 27 pounds.
