After a rise in settlement, the western frontier was closed by the year: 1890
During the settlement , a lot of poeple from all over the world rushed over to the western frontier to obtain cheap lands for their business.
By the year 1890, almost no land left available for the new settlers, so the government decided to close the western frontier.
