Answer: 2

Explanation:

To get the y-intercept, we put x= 0

and then solve for y in the equation given

y = 2(4^x)

putting x =0

y = 2(4^0)

according to the rule of indices,any variable raise to the power of zero is 1

so 4^0 = 1

y=2(1)

y =2

Therefore y- intercept is 2
