i is considered an imaginary number, also described as -1. so -1^37 would be equal to -37
It can also be i, since it is an imaginary number, but the first answer is accurate because i=the equation has the exponent ^37

i^37 can be simplified to i

Reason: i^2=-1, i^4=1. Every 4 i values become 1. I^37 is basically i^4*i^4*i^4*i^4*i^4*i^4*i^4*i^4*i^4*i.
All of the i^4 values become 1, so what is left is i.
