I'm assuming that y2 means y^2 or y squared. In that case, your factors will be (6y+1) and (6y-1).

Answer:

The factors of tex]36y^2-1[/tex] are
(6y+1)(6y-1)

Explanation:

Consider the given expression
36y^2-1

We have to factorize it completely and then place the factors on grid.

Consider the given expression
36y^2-1

We know algebraic identity,
a^2-b^2=(a-b)(a+b)

Using above stated algebraic identity , we have,

36y^2 can be written as
6y * 6y

36y^2-1=(6y)^2-1^2=(6y+1)(6y-1)

Thus, the factors of tex]36y^2-1[/tex] are
(6y+1)(6y-1)

Below attachment shows the placement on grid.

Factor this expression completely and then place the factors in the proper location-example-1
