Now by using the pythagorean theorem

Hypotenuse² = Perpendicular² + Base²

As in Δ WYZ.

WZ² = ZY² + WY²

Hypotenuse = WZ = c

Perpendicular = WY = 4 units

Base = ZY = 3 units

Put in the above

c² = 4² + 3²

c² = 16 + 9

c² = 25


c = √(25)

c = 5 units

Therefore the value of c is 5 units.
