A wooden cube of mahogany has a side length of 8 cm and a mass of 400 g.

What is the density of the cube?

Round to the nearest hundredth.

Density = mass / volume

Volume of the cube = 8^3 = 512 cm^3


so density = 400 / 512 = 0.78 g/cm^3 to nearest hundredth
