A shipping box in the shape of a cube has an edge length of 8 inches. It can hold 8 mugs with no extra space between them If the dimensions of the shipping box are all doubled, what is the maximum number of mugs that the larger box can hold?

A cube with side length of 8 inches holds 8 mugs

If the dimensions of the shipping box are all doubled, the side length 8 inches becomes 2*8= 16 inches

so the number mugs it hold also gets doubled

So , A cube with side length of 16 inches holds 16 mugs
