To get the percentage of increase you have to find the difference (126) and divide it by the original number (1800).
126 / 1800 = 0.07
Multiply by 100 to convert the decimal into a percentage.
Answer: 7%

You would have to do the equation 1800x=1926. You solve for x and the percent increase is 1926/1800, which is a 107% increase
