Hey there!
In order to find how many batches of cookies Sue can make with 9 cups of flour, all you need to do is divide 9 by 1 1/4. Not sure if you've gotten into decimals yet, but I would use those instead of fractions if you have.
Here's how you solve with fractions:

Make this easier on yourself and turn your whole number into an improper fraction.

When you divide fractions, you will flip the second fraction (also called taking the reciprocal of the fraction). Then, you can multiply your fractions together instead.

Now, just multiply across and simplify.

Since you can't make a full batch with a fifth of the flour needed, Sue will be able to make 7 batches.
Hope this helped you out! :-)
