15x64=960, 12x28=336, 960-336= 624. If I'm not completely wrong, 624 should be your answer.

Answer: There are 1296 crayons have been used altogether.

Explanation:

Since we have given that

Number of boxes = 15

Number of crayons in each box = 64

So, Number of crayons in 15 boxes would be

15* 64\\\\=960

Number of boxes = 12

Number of crayons in each box = 28

So, Number of crayons in 12 boxes would be

12* 28\\\\=336

So, total number of crayons altogether would be

960+336\\\\=1296

Hence, there are 1296 crayons have been used altogether.
